'JaVaMay Scappatella is an online journal with a priority aims to share our random adventure to the internet world.
Our site name JaVaMay came from: Ja from Janine, Va from Vanessa, and May from May while Scappatella is an Italian word for escapade. Since the words travel, escapade, adventure, journey, voyage and tour are already too common, we've thought of a name that sounds unique, exceptional, inimitable and extraordinary just like us *wink.

Hey everyone! I'm Janine Kate Gloria 'jan' or 'nin' for short as my friends would call me. I finished my studies on the year 2013 with the degree of Information Technology major in Web Development Applications from one of the universities here in Cebu City, Philippines. I was born in Cebu City and because of that I must say that I'm a proud CEBUANA (caps lock to make it intense..lol). Being the youngest in the family I was always exposed to lots of good memories, and that includes happy and loving memories with them. That's why I grew up as a happy kid and the word "hate" can't be found in my vocabulary. I am a friendly type of person who deals well with others, cheerful, painstaking, loving, cheerful, and who always wear a happy smile on my face though in good times or bad.
I enjoy collecting watches regardless of brands and styles, watching movies (horror, thriller, suspense, romance comedy and science fiction), listening to music (all genres except metallic and screams--gosh they're just giving me a terrible headache I don't mean to offend..hehe), surfing the net, programming, designing, photo editing and hanging out with friends and family. I love to explore and do a lot of things especially those that are new to me, and I always make sure They are beneficial and provides that Relevant lessons that can help me grow as a good person in my daily living.

Vanessa Kay Concon
'A web developer, freelancer, bookworm, an adventurer, and a certified foodie.'
Hi, I am Vanessa. You can call me Van, Vanny, or simply Vanessa. I am a proud Boholana but also a half Cebuana. Not really a half Cebuana by blood but I spent half of my life in Cebu. I graduated a degree in Information Technology in one of Cebu's most prestigious school. I'm a frustrated Web Developer, Digital Specialist and I currently work as a Video Editor.
I came from a large catholic family and was taught by my grandparents to be independent and have a great love for the One above. I love reading. I always have and always will. I like to read tagalog romance novels and a great fan of Stallion boys especially "my labs" Trigger Samaniego. My favorite authors are Mary Higgins Clark, Mitch Albom, Sonia Fracesca, Jonaxx, and a lot more. I am a great fan of mystery/suspense but I read other genres as well.
And mentioned above, I'm a certified foodie. I guess that's the reason why I never lose weight, haha. Just like most of us, I LOVE to travel. Aside from that, I also love to listen to music (especially from Avril Lavigne, Simple Plan, One ok Rock and some cool Japanese/Anime songs), I love to binge watch anime as well as some American/English movies/series.

Hi I’m May Cruz, you can call me ‘may’, or ‘Amy’. A graduate of Information Technology major in
Mobile Applications Development (Android). A software developer in one of the
fastest growing IT Company in Cebu. I love chocolates. I love the sea. I love
the ocean and I hope to see one. I love dogs, I guess (hahaha). I love fashion. I love challenges and
adventures. I love travelling, go to different places. I want to travel the
world in 80 days (#inspiredbyjackiechanmovie – I’m so ambitious, but who
knows).
My All Time Favorite: Harry Potter. I read Harry Potter
books, I watch Harry Potter movies and I play Pottermore just to experience
what is there in the world of Harry James Potter. I hate bicycles because I had a bad memory
about it. I hate snakes and centipedes. I want to ride on a plane or a ship a
really big ship like Titanic. My friend once asked me if which is sweeter, a
guy who gives you a chocolate or a guy who gives you your favourite flower then
I answered her that if a guy would give me a CD of Christian Bautista’s songs
that would be sweeter than flowers and chocolates plus a CD player of course
because how can I listen to the songs without a CD player (hahaha – I’m just
joking). But I really love Christian’s voice.
